Tomorrow Is Going To Be Like A Tremor..

Landscape, Art, Nature or Photography. Pictures, Images and Photos

“It seemed like this day could go in so many directions, like a spider web shooting out towards endless possibilities. Whenever you made a choice, especially one you‘d been resisting, it always affected everything else, some in big ways, like a tremor beneath your feet, others in so tiny a shift you hardly noticed a change at all. But it was happening.” ~Sarah Dessen, This Lullaby, pg. 117.

It's been really boring. Wednesday is the last full day of school, then we have a half day on Thursday. Then we have Friday and Monday off, which I don't know what I'm going to do. I just don't like being home.

Orchestra has been a lot better. It's just the seconds parts are so easy! I like the firsts parts, where they go into third and fifth positions. We don't get any of that, just complicated rhythms and patterns. I kind of like having the harmony over the melody, though. It's what makes a piece what it is.

So tomorrow. That's what the quote's about. That's all I have to say about that.

That's about it. Next semester, which starts a week from Tuesday, should be more exciting. New students, new teachers. It should be better.

"Do you know, that everyday's the first of the rest of your life." ~Thriving Ivory

Peace.

Time Is Running Out.

art or photography Pictures, Images and Photos

It is. I have to do it soon. I don't know what will happen if I don't, what will happen to us. Which is why I will Friday. I have to... *Just a reminder to myself, so whenever I go on here, which is often, I'll have it to mock me. Just totally disregard this.*

"This is not what I intended. I always swore to you I'd never fall apart. You always thought that I was stronger. I may have failed but I have loved you from the start." ~Secondhand Serenade

The first day back was good, even though I woke up super late, so I didn't get in the orchestra room until really late; I usually like to get there really early, before everyone else. I don't know why, but lately I've just been wandering aimlessly around the halls before the first bell. Going absolutely nowhere. It's surprisingly relaxing.

I was demoted in orchestra. She started to rearrange the orchestra, so I'm now a second violin, which isn't so bad. I'm next to my friends, and I technically get the harder part. 2nds usually get the harder rhythms and the more awkward parts. So it should be good.

Nothing exciting happened today. It wasn't a great day, but it wasn't a horrible day either. It was just boring.

That's basically it.

Peace.

Just Move On.

snow rain and alone Pictures, Images and Photos

"It stinks when somebody likes you but you don't like them back." ~ <3

Today was okay, I guess.

I'm really excited for Tuesday. We have two concerts that day-one during school where we go to a retirement home, & another one after school with the middle school I went to last year. I get to miss most of English. :D

But we have to walk to the retirement home (it's right across the street. Don't worry, it's not child abuse, you don't have to call child services (;). That day it's suppose to be freezing, windy, & oh yeah, it's suppose to snow. It never snows here. But when it finally does we have to walk in it. Everyone's probably gonna freak out. :)

World Geography was fun. I'm starting to really hate this one girl in my class, though. She keeps telling me my best guy friend is gay, which I'm almost positive he's not (it's a .01% chance that he might be, not that there's anything wrong with that. (;). It just irritates me! So what if he's girly, it doesn't mean he's gay! Grrr. I'm so mad. Five people in my world geo class have asked me if it was true. It's starting to get old. The real problem: she used to looove him. He doesn't have the same feelings for her, so I'm assuming that's why she's telling everyone this, to get back at him. :( She also has the most perverted mind ever. You don't even want to know some of the things she has said. ~shivers~

It is a horrible feeling. When you love someone, & they don't like you back. Even the other way around-when someone loves you but you don't like them. What are you suppose to do? Tell them the truth? Or just try not to lead them on? That's the problem with my friend-he's so awesome, but he leads a lot of people on. He doesn't mean to. It just sorta happens.

He feels horrible (or as horrible as he can feel :). She likes him, he doesn't like her, & now all of our world geo class thinks hes gay.

Wtf.

Peace.

Remember?

love Pictures, Images and Photos

"...I don't feel what you feel, I don't want to feel this incomplete. No one here can tell me how to fill this space between. Everyone knows you're my one regret. Everyone knows you're my one weakness..." ~The Last Goodnight

Woah. A lot happened today, which is basically just useless info that none of y'all probably care about, but whatever. :)

So in orchestra, we sounded pretty awesome. I love playing Christmas music, I don't know why, it's just, I don't know, relaxing? It's just nice to have orchestra first thing in the morning. :)

In world geography we played "Jeopardy". We split up into three teams, with the guy that is the two year old (remember?) on my team. & I guess I kinda like him, but not really, but he is just sooo incredibly smart, it's unbelievable some of the useless facts he knows. But anywho, I got almost all of the questions right, except one (stupid Suez Canal :P) but when I did get one right, I got a high five from him! Haha, I know, stupid, but it still brightened up my day. :D

In English tomorrow we have a bus safety evacuation thing, & we have to go outside and learn how to "properly evacuate a bus". Pffft. It's a good thing to learn, especially with orchestra and all the trips we go on, but most kids won't remember it. Their brain capacities are too small & if they try to fit anything else in it they might forget their locker combination (from Two and a Half Men! :D). So tomorrow will be "fun" in English.

We've had a student teacher in English since the beginning of the school year, but she's going to be leaving on Friday. :'( It's really gong to be sad, she is so much cooler than are regular teacher, but oh well. She might substitute for our class though. :)

Our concert is coming up for orchestra soon. We have two, I don't remember the exact dates, but it's like the day before we go on Holiday Break. Can't wait till I see my friends from last year! :D & we sound so much better than we did last year. Oh, & did I mention we're gonna get a student teacher for orchestra soon? Yep, that is going to be hard. I hope it's after UIL, we'll do horrible if it's not.

Peace.

Whoa :O

snow Pictures, Images and Photos

I cannot believe it's already December. This year has went by so fast, it's almost 2009! :O

Whoa.

It's crazy. So much has happened this year. It's just amazing.

I just took a blogthings quiz; I'm clam chowder: :D

You Are Clam Chowder
You are cynical and a bit provincial. You don't trust what's new or trendy. You are also indulgent and hedonistic. You like rich foods, and you would never count calories. You are not a big cooker - or a big foodie. Food is not complicated for you. You eat what's comfortable. And what's from a box or can. You're very low maintenance.

It's somewhat true. & I love clam chowder :)

*Here's the link* 'cause I'm too lazy to load the quiz on my computer. :P

Today was fun. I'm assuming no one practiced over the break 'cause that's how we sounded, at least for the first half of orchestra. Towards the end we started to sound pretty good . :)

World Geography was okay. There's this really creepy guy in my class who always sneaks up behind me and scares the sh!t out of me. He put his chin on my shoulder the other day when I was sitting down. I jumped out of my seat so fast, it scared me so badly. :P Ugh, he's just the creepy guy that sits in the back of your class that seems like he's going to be a murderer when he grows up. I don't know, that's just what I think of when I see him...

Peace.

Two Roads...

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
~Robert Frost

I know I already posted this poem, but I thought it went really well with how I feel right now. Hard to explain, but I really could just go either way...Sorry if this makes no sense, it probably doesn't.

I haven't been posting everyday. It feels weird. =P

My computer keeps on freezing. Idk how much research we'll get done tomorrow, if any. We did some in world geography, but we mostly just goofed off. =)

I'm getting a new violin. Hopefully this weekend. The one I have now sounds too bright. I like the more mellow sounding ones.

Harrowdown Hill is my new favorite song. Youtube it. Seriously, you have to. I'm addicted to it, if it's even possible to be addicted to a song.

Uhm, we probably had our best rehearsal in the last few weeks in orchestra today.

This week went by sooo fast. I can not believe it's Friday! TGIF! <3

Peace.

Love? I hope so...

Today in orchestra we played for home schooled kids to teach them about orchestra. It was so much fun because they were only 5 or 6 years old. They were adorable!

It rained on Monday. It never ever ever rains here. It's like when it does, we get major flooding and tornadoes.

Go figure.

I haven't been able to sleep the last few nights. I don't know why, but I am soo exhausted right now.

I think I really like the guy now. A lot. It's hard to really say though, but I think so. And I think he likes me back. I'm almost positive now. Can't wait till Saturday, it will be fun. I won't be on at all probably on Saturday, because we need all day to work on it. There has not been one day during this week that we both could work on it. I really hope we can get it done, but I think we can. It's going to be sooo much work. Idk, I might post about it, I might not. Idk.

Peace.

To Earthward

Love at the lips was touch
As sweet as I could bear;
And once that seemed too much;
I lived on air

That crossed me from sweet things,
The flow of - was it musk
From hidden grapevine springs
Down hill at dusk?

I had the swirl and ache
From sprays of honeysuckle
That when they're gathered shake
Dew on the knuckle.

I craved strong sweets, but those
Seemed strong when I was young;
The petal of the rose
It was that stung.

Now no joy but lacks salt
That is not dashed with pain
And weariness and fault;
I crave the stain

Of tears, the aftermark
Of almost too much love,
The sweet of bitter bark
And burning clove.

When stiff and sore and scarred
I take away my hand
From leaning on it hard
In grass and sand,

The hurt is not enough:
I long for weight and strength
To feel the earth as rough
To all my length.

~Robert Frost

I love that poem! Well, all of his poems =D

I forgot to post about this yesterday: the orchestra gets absolutely no credit.

At the pep rally yesterday, the ROTC, the 'singing group', who really sucked, btw, (not trying to be mean, but they really did) and the step group, which is a dancing group that my friend is in, and she did great =D all performed. And the band, but they have to. Which is so unfair! They never even announce orchestra concerts, and my friend didn't even know we already had a concert. It's so unfair! We probably work just as hard as the band (okay, maybe a little less, because they perform so much and have like a bazillion competitions) but we still deserve some credit! =P

Peace.

Pandas Are Adorable! =D ♥

So far this week:

We had a substitute for Orchestra on Monday. She couldn't play an instrument so we got half of the class period to practice and the other half to do nothing. It was great. How come we never have a substitute for Orchestra that can play an instrument? Same thing for French: we never have a sub that can speak french. Well once we did. But still, most of the time subs don't know anything about what they're subbing for. It just irritates me.

Also on Monday the orchestra room smelled reeeeaallly bad. We're having a soda/water sale, I don't remember what for, but we had to bring in bottles of soda and water to sell and put them in the back room. Well, apparently one of the soda coolers spilled and fermented or something like that, and made the room smell like sour milk. Gross. P

I got an 87 on my French exam. Don't ask. I didn't know how that was even possible.

For English I have to write six poems: 1 is due on Friday and the other 5 are due on Monday to be put in a book. I suck at writing poetry. Wish me luck! =)

And one more thing: my friend talked to the guy (you know who =) Not that I asked her to or anything. She just did it while I was sitting next to him. He said he won't date anyone until he is ready. His last girlfriend thought he was cheating on her. (which I know he didn't and would never!) He still has the scars on his hands. I got so mad. How could she do that to him?! He is so sweet, and would never do anything like that! I just don't know. ='(

Peace.

Still Tired...

This weekend was pretty boring compared to the last few weekends:

Yesterday I felt extremely sick. I had really bad stomach pains. And on Friday night I must have slept in an awkward position because I had back pains all yesterday, and it's better today but not completely. =P

I'm still so tired, I don't know why! I slept in yesterday since I didn't go to the plant sale, and I slept in till 8 today. Which is surprisingly late for me. My mom keeps on threatening to take me to the doctor because she thinks I'm deathly sick 'cause I'm always so tired! Haha! =)

Hmmm...this week nothing's going on. Except this one guy is coming to our orchestra on Friday to check out our instruments and see if there's any damage on them to "make our orchestra sound better". Blah.

Halloween is Friday. Can you believe it?! It seems school just started a few weeks ago. The first quarter is almost over, which is the first nine weeks in school. Yay! I can't wait for Christmas either. I hope it snows this year! It just doesn't feel like Christmas to me without snow. It's weird.

My computer is so stupid! I think it has a virus on it, it keeps on freezing. I had to restart it four times yesterday because it kept on freezing. Then today it wouldn't let me shut it down, so I had to crawl behind my desk to turn off the power switch. It is so stupid. =P

That's basically it. =)

Peace.

Plant Sale

Today we had the plant sale fundraiser for orchestra. It was sooo much fun. All we had to do was stand in front of our school and sell plants. Barely anyone came to buy plants though, but those who did buy bought at least $100 worth of stuff, so we should have enough money to pay for part of our trip to San Antonio in March. I'm so excited for it! =D

So all I did today, besides helping the customers we rarely got, was hang out with my friends who volunteered to help out today. This one girl brought her camera, and some of the sophomore and junior guys were being stupid, so we took pictures of them making gay poses out in front of the plant sale sign and the school. Some of them were too good at it... Hope the orchestra teacher didn't secretly drive by to check to see how everything was going. Oops. I think that's also why we didn't get many customers. They saw them and got scared so they drove away =)

So for the rest of the day I'm probably going to relax, which I haven't done in awhile. I'm always so busy with school, between practicing the orchestra music, lessons after school with the orchestra teacher, and also private lessons which I also have once a week. =P

Tomorrow I'm going to the movies with some friends, so that will be a nice change from my normal Sundays, which is doing absolutely nothing. =)

Yep. That's been my exciting week. ♪ ♫
